Minutes later, the intersection is filled with police in full riot gear. The strange red light in the center of the photograph is emanating from an armored personnel carrier euphemistically called a "Peacekeeper" by the Seattle Police Department. To the right, dressed in red, is Swaneagle, who pleads with the police to stop their assaults on peaceful non-violent demonstrators. The police officer just left of the armored carrier is John Doe #9, who will later be identified in a federal lawsuit as the officer who shot Life has Meaning.
